Urgent plea for Newspapers!
We urgently need newspapers which we use in our small animal accommodation for bedding. Please help, thank you!
New Honourary Treasurer Wanted
Our present Hon. treasurer is stepping down from the post at the end of the year and Bradford Branch is looking for a like minded animal lover to replace him, the obvious qualities are a professional Banking or accounting background, the ability to pop into the Branch on an occasional basis and be available for monthly evening committee meetings, (usually the 4th Monday of each month), giving a report as to the Branches financial position, counter signing cheques etc and playing a central role in the Branches future development and success.
The Branch employs a full time accounts person who looks after all the day to day finances along with our General manager, so the need for manually writing of accounts, Paye and book keeping is not required. The Branch runs a computerised system based on Sage.
The present treasurer will be continuing his involvement with the Branch as a trustee so will be on hand to ensure a seamless transition to a new person.
This is a responsible role but we believe a rewarding and exciting one, the Branch has a turn-over approaching £1.million and employs approximately 40 staff, in the animal home,a Veterinary clinic and 6 Charity shop outlets.
Please contact us in Writing, Marked Private and Confidential to; The Chair; Mrs Jan Robertshaw c/o the Bradford Rspca, Clive Precious House, Mount Street, Bradford BD3 9SW.
Or by email to Janrobertshaw@yahoo.co.uk or telephone (01274) 723063 for further details or information.

Microchipping alone is not enough
While the Westminster Government's announced measures aimed at
