Leah

Age: 18 months

Breed: Cross Staffie

Sex: Female

Leah is an 18 month old Cross Staffie Bitch

Leah is a lovely friendly sweet dog who enjoys being made a fuss of.   Leah loves playing rough and tumble, and also likes playing with her ragger. She does pull on the lead, so she will need some lead and obedience training. Leah is possibly housetrained but we are not sure what she is like at travelling. She gets on well with other dogs and may be suitable to live with cats. Leah should be suitable to live with a family with children over the age of 10, a mature family or couple. She will need an active family where she will get plenty of walks and a home where she won’t be left for more than 3 – 4 hours a day maximum on her own.

['Longest Dog Resident'] [Leah, January 2014]

Bear

Age: 6-7 years

Breed: German Shepherd

Sex: Male

Bear a 7 year old German Shepherd dog.

Bear is a slightly older boy who is 7 years old, but he is still very active and always raring to go! Bear loves to go for his walks and he also likes to play with his tennis ball.  He is not a boisterous dog and he walks perfectly on the lead. Bear can be quite vocal when approaching other dogs but once introduced to them he walks well alongside them and can even be a little playful.  Although Bear is okay to walk around other dogs, he would be suitable to live in a household where there are no other pets so that he can receive all the attention to himself.  Bear would be suitable to live in a household with a mature family (16yrs +), mature couple or as a one to one companion.

Toby

Age: 9 years

Cross Spaniel

Sex: Male

Toby is a 9 year old Cross Spaniel dog.

Toby is a very sweet dog who was adopted from us 7 years ago but unfortunately has been returned due to him developing separation anxiety. Toby is very distressed and upset in kennels and we would love to find a home as soon as possible. Due to Toby’s separation anxiety,  he will require a home where there is someone with him for the majority of the day. Toby  enjoys going for his walks and he walks well on the lead. He is also more than happy to relax on the sofa next to you, being made a fuss  and given lots of cuddles. Toby isn't really interested in toys but does love his chews and treats. Toby will be suitable to live with another quiet dog in the household and possibly with cats.  He will be suitable to live with a family with children over the age of 5.
